Venue:

Our plenar sessions will take place in seminar room 180, ground floor, of the "Modulbau" building at University of Cologne, Faculty of the Humanities.
The address is: Herbert-Lewin-Str. 10, 50931 Köln.

This room, as well as the seminar rooms we will use for the small group sessions and the lecture hall where the keynote talks will take place, are accessible via barrier-free entrances.

Food:

We will offer coffee, tea, cold drinks and small snacks during the workshop days.
For lunch, we ask participants to get food by themselves - there is a variety of restaurants as well as take-away options on Dürener Straße, in walking distance from the faculty.
We will make dinner reservations for communal dinner options on Wednesday and Thursday, one of which will be covered by our event's funding. 

Hotel:

We have secured a number of hotel rooms at a reduced rate at Hotel Chelsea, in walking distance to the faculty - simply give the information that you wish to book for an attendance of the SoDoc at University of Cologne to obtain this discount.

You will find an incredible number of accommodation options near the university and generally within Cologne. Nevertheless, this is a short list of hotels and hostels that are within walking distance of the venue and are usually affordable and recommendable. However, we have not made any reservations in these hotels and hostels and have not deposited any discounted offer in these places either. But of course you can still arrange your stay there.
