The Dohle Group has a strong focus on multi-disciplinary research and on the application of social psychological theories to problems of society. In particular, we study self-regulation, implicit theories (mindsets), and behavior change, especially in health contexts. Other research interests concern meta-science, trust, and social hierarchies. We mainly conduct experimental research, but our research also includes the analysis of experience sampling data, longitudinal surveys, or web-scraped data. It is also important to us that the results of our research find their way into practice. Therefore, we are also actively involved in science communication and cooperate with numerous partners in applied settings.
